Just Mercy Summer Reading Groups
In 2014, Harvard-trained attorney Bryan Stevenson published Just Mercy, which quickly became a #1 NY Times bestseller. In it Stevenson shares stories from decades of criminal defense work that highlight themes central to our personal lives and legal system, especially the question of the proper relation of justice to mercy. Join local judges, lawyers, and advocates this summer as we discuss these pivotal themes and enjoy each other. Reading groups will be led by our associate pastor and Michiana Lifetree Cafe director, Dr. Adam Clark, whose dissertation addressed the relation of justice and mercy in international and domestic law.
